This policy explains which cookies we use, why we use them and how you can control them. In addition to necessary cookies, we may set analytics and marketing/tracking cookies when you explicitly consent.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They remember your preferences so the site works correctly. Alongside classic cookies, other techniques such as localStorage in your browser may be used — we mention those below as well.
2. Cookies we set
· skw_locale — remembers your language choice (NL/EN). Type: necessary/functional. Retention: 1 year.
· skw_cookie_consent — stores your cookie preferences (necessary/analytics/marketing) and consent policy version. Type: necessary/functional (localStorage in your browser). Retention: until you clear your browser data.
Necessary cookies are always set because the site cannot function correctly without them.
3. Third-party cookies
Some content only loads when you actively open it. When that happens, third parties may set technical cookies required for their service:
· Matterport — loaded when you open a 360° virtual tour on a room page.
· OpenStreetMap / CARTO — serves the map tiles on our contact and accessibility pages.
We do not share any personal data with these third parties. They may, however, process technical data (such as IP address and browser type) when their content is loaded on your screen. See their own policies for details.
4. Analytics and marketing (consent-based)
Analytics and marketing/tracking cookies are only set when you explicitly opt in via the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw this preference at any time.
5. How to control cookies
You can manage or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings:
· Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
· Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and site data
· Safari: Preferences → Privacy
· Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Note: if you disable functional cookies, some parts of this site may no longer behave as expected — for example, your language choice will not be remembered.
6. Changes
This cookie policy may change when our service or legislation changes. The latest version is always on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
